Step back in time with this well restored 1950 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. Originally purchased in Norwalk, OH on August 16, 1987 by our seller, this truck has undergone significant upgrades and refurbishment to become the dependable driver, “casual show” and cruise ready vintage vehicle it is today.

Under the hood, you'll find a powerful mid-60s 327 cubic inch V8 engine (F0705HT 612 7702 - Decoded as a 1965/6 Corvette 327 cubic inch/350 horsepower)which was expertly installed using Chassis Engineering motor mounts (cp1160). Paired with an automatic Turbo 350 transmission, this truck delivers a smooth and fun driving experience.

To enhance the driving dynamics, upgrades were made to the suspension and steering. A Pacer front K member, complete with disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, and a sway bar, was installed using Chassis Engineering mounting kit. This ensures far better handling and improved stopping power over the original.

During the refurbishment process, the body was stripped and repainted, giving the truck a fresh and “casual show” worthy appearance. Overall, the paint looks very good. The bed has been done with a one piece wood panel and looks great. The windows and rubber seals were replaced, further enhancing its overall aesthetic. Complementing the truck's classic charm are the stylish American Bullet wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.

Over the years, additional improvements have been made to enhance performance and add eye-catching details. Stainless steel bumpers, chrome grill bars, and custom aluminum knobs were added to elevate its visual appeal. A New Port Engineering NE4753CT electric wiper motor was installed for improved visibility for inclement weather.

Under the hood, enhancements include a CompCams #12-316-4 camshaft was installed, along with Chevy 350 "882" cylinder heads, an Accel 9107 HEI distributor, MSD 3118 ignition wires, and a Holly 4010 carburetor. These upgrades ensure the engine performs at its best, providing a great driving experience.

In 2022, the speedometer was replaced with a new model (#14174) due to a malfunction at 68,250 miles. The speedometer cable and fuel pump were also replaced, ensuring accurate readings and reliable performance.
